Isaac Newton: Early Life and Education. Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. The son of a farmer who died three months before he was born, Newton spent. Isaac Newton is best known as the inventor of calculus. But he also held a lesser-known role later in life: as Master of the Royal Mint, he pioneered techniques to stamp out counterfeit money. Newton’s dedication to fairness inspires us on our quest to build a financial system that is. Are you interested in running for the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education? If so, attend this information session to learn more about what it’s like to be a school board member in Littleton Public Schools. Attendees will have an opportunity to:

  • Learn from the Colorado Association of School Boards about the role of a school board member;
  • Learn about the LPS Board of Education experience from current and former board members;
  • Receive information about running for office (election timelines, filing, etc.);
  • Ask questions of LPS staff and current Board members.

Newton's Third Law Of Motion

Board members Jack Reutzel and Kelly Perez are finishing their second term on the Board and cannot run for a third due to term limits. Carrie Warren-Gully’s term is also ending. She resigned from the Board in December after being elected to the Arapahoe County Commission. Angela Christensen was appointed by the Board in early March to complete the remainder of Warren-Gully’s term.
